| Named for Takai Kohzan (1806-1883), the man who invited the painter Katsushika Hokusai to Obuse at the end of the Edo period. Kohzan was a man of letters who ran the Masuichi-Ichimura Sake Brewery and not only served as Hokusai's patron, but studied art himself as well. This sake is a mellow dry +8 density Daiginjo Junmai sake, reflecting Kohzan's elegance and refined spirit. |
